One of my friends asked me recently if there was a way to bypass i.e security features (the content advisor). Knowing there was.. although not knowing exactly what.. I decided to see if I could figure it out. About an hour later I had figured out how; to go though the registy files and delete the key. Below are the steps to disable your content advisor security.

  11. 1.) Back up your registry of course.

  13. 2.) Go to Start > Run.. > REGEDIT
  14.  
  15. 3.) Once in; go to "HKey_Local_Machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Policies > Ratings"

  17. 4.) From there delete the entry called "key."

  20. Thats all you have to do to clear up the pasword on IE 3.0 and 4.01 under Win95.
